Video: Galaxy Note 3 Bend Test (iPhone 6 Plus Follow-up)

You've probably already watched the iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test. Lewis of Unbox Therapy again got an ample request to do it on another device.

He got a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which has a similar form factor as of the iPhone 6 Plus. He's going to show whether the Bend Test he actually did on the iPhone 6 Plus will happen on another set of device.

Before that he mentioned about the iPhone 6 Plus, when he attempted to bend it back to it's original form it ended up a crack on the glass. So if ever you had your phone bent, better leave it that way as you will just end up cracking the display along with it if you try to bend it back.

Now, let's have a look with the video of the Galaxy Note 3 Bend Test.

As you can clearly see on the video that he even applied more force on the device and it bent. But, it retained back to its original form and ultimately no damage at all and is functioning well.

He even tried it once using full pressure of his hands with the charger plugged-in. And you can clearly see that it's a little bit warped but the device is completely functioning.

To wrap it up the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 survived the same Bend Test as the iPhone 6 Plus failed.

Video: iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test

There were a lot of claims that the iPhone 6 Plus was bending inside of people's pocket. Lewis, the man behind Unbox Therapy decided to put his iPhone 6 on his pocket and use it as his regular phone for a couple of days. And upon inspection he noticed an indentation towards the center of the device which shows a little kind of a bent.

Some of the images from other people showed a far more significant bent and claimed only putting it on their front pocket which normally wouldn't result in a bent aluminum phone .

For the sake of Science he showed how much force it will take to bend or make the device unusable that will make the owner of one of the device unfortunate.

Now, let's take a look at the video of the iPhone 6 Plus Bend Test.

Unfortunately, after he applied pressure of his hands the phone bends significantly specifically at the center near the button cut outs where the weak point is.

Bottom-line, it's an aluminum and he proved that it is going to bend if you apply enough force as he did.
That will totally happen depending on how often your wearing the device.

You also need to take enough precautions of whether if you decide to wear it on your pockets or place it inside a separate bag or something.

Would you try to wear your iPhone 6 Plus on your pocket? I won't do it rather if I ever own one, just how I wish.
