Manila Philippines - As per Dr. Erik Cayabyab, the City Optimized Managed Electric Transport (COMET) operated by an electric motor aims to zero out pollution and minimize traffic.
It is designed mainly for commuters which will provide a comfortable seats for 20 passengers.
During the Unli-Ride Phase, e-Jeepney offers unlimited ride for about a week until the launching date on Sep. 27, 2014.
After the launching date all fares will be at the regular rates.
The system uses a card worth P20 which can be obtained from the gate pass agents selling the cards at the 28 Stop-Overs and Terminals.
